Chef Robert Moses

Established in 2006, Soul Food Enterprises LLC provides a one-stop resource for the African & African American multicultural community — offering support through historical culinary education and affiliate referrals to communities nationwide.

Chef Robert began his Food and Beverage career in 1969 at hotels in San Francisco, California.

As a young man, he noticed the lack of resources for minorities in higher education. Bob began working as a bartender at the Fairmont Hotel and the San Francisco Hilton Hotel. After 20+ years in the beverage industry, he decided to attend the Soul Food Culinary Academy. After graduating, he founded the Northern California Association of African American Chefs, an organization dedicated to networking Black chefs for education and job referrals.

“The best move of my life” — it opened so many doors, I couldn’t believe it… I crossed over!!!

In the early 1990s, he relocated to the Lake Tahoe–Sacramento area and worked for Caesars World Casinos (including Las Vegas, Lake Tahoe, and Atlantic City) as Food and Beverage Manager and Bartender Supervisor/Trainer for 10 years. At one point, he began to understand that staff training was the key to delivering excellent customer service and guest appreciation.

As he continued his culinary journey, Chef Robert realized that as a professional F&B Manager, he had an obligation to “reach one and teach one”. That motto has now become his passion — to pass on his knowledge.

We hope our followers appreciate the efforts of Soul Food 365 USA.
It’s from our hearts. Enjoy!
