Established in 2006, Soul Food Enterprises LLC is providing a one-stop
resource for the African & African American multicultural community to
provide resources thru historical culinary education and referral affiliates
to the community nationwide.
Chef robert started his food and beverage career in 1969 in hotels in san francisco, california. As a young man, seeing there were few resources for minorities in higher education, bob started as a bartender at the fairmont hotel and the san francisco hilton hotel.
After 20+ years in beverage, he decided to go to sf culinary academy. After graduating, he founded the northern california assn of african american chefs — an organization to network black chefs for education and job referrals.
The best move of my life. “Opened so many doors I could not believe it — I crossed over!!!
In the early 1990’s, I relocated to the Lake Tahoe–Sacramento area and worked for Caesar’s World Casinos, which included Las Vegas, Lake Tahoe, and Atlantic City, as Food and Beverage Manager and Bartender Supervisor Trainer for 10 years. At one point, I started to understand that the training of my staff made the difference in overall customer service and guest appreciation.
As I’ve traveled through my culinary career, I realized as a professional F&B Manager, we have an obligation to reach one and teach one — which has now become my passion to pass along my knowledge.
I hope our followers appreciate the efforts of Soul Food 365USA.
It’s from our hearts. Enjoy!!!
